Infield Productions is three-time Emmy Award winning Director of Photography Jim Karabin, specializing in sports related features, documentaries, and show open/teases.

From as early as I can remember I was interested in two things…playing sports and photography. In 1991, while a student at George Mason University, I found my calling in sports television. The experience and sports industry contacts I gained working in the Sports Information Department afforded me the opportunity to begin a freelance career as a live sports cameraman. Through the generosity and kindness of some very talented producers and DP's I gained a skillset that allowed me, in 2005, to work full-time as a Director of Photography. Since that time I have shot and directed features, show opens, and documentaries for clients such as CBS Sports, NBC Sports, ESPN, and Versus, among others.
